Rabat is a charming city and is the capital of Morocco- we unwinded a bit and spent a wonderful 2 nights in the charming Riad Dar Shaan. We enjoyed the UNESCO site of Kasbah of the Oudayas, the mausoleum in Mohammed V, walking the Medina, where we stayed, the wonderful food, the Berber museum of the fort. We learned a lot about the Berber indigenous people through our guides and driver ( who are both berbers). It’s a 20,000 year old civilization of indegenius people. The Amazigh or free people, live in the north, middle and southern Atlas Mountains. I must come back and visit these areas!

Our wonderful waiter treated us to these mouth watering cookies- they are aromatized with Fleur d’Oranger. We pretty much ate them In one sitting!
Amazing, I would love to have the recipe for there tea!
Beautiful and happy that you enjoyXX
